Lessons in Mental Resilience at Chen Lu Cup 2026
7-10 August 2026
To close off our summer break, our U12 Golden Cobras completed an important series of games at the annual Chen Lu Cup hosted in Shenzhen, China.
Another journey began in Shenzhen. The U12 team was led by captains # 16 Rafael Honoris (C), Alex Honoris (A), and Jason Denzel Thambrin (A).
Unfortunately, our elite group fell short of bringing home a medal. The games were close and competitive. Strong teams from Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan taught us how to compete and battle for the full duration of the game. No excuses. No room for mistakes and lack of focus.
We are grateful for a tournament experience themed around mental resilience and hard work. The cultural exchange with the Chinese teams taught us many life lessons that we will remember in our journey to the top.
And so we keep working, and our passion never dies. We can't wait for the redemption journey and our next international appearance. Thank you kids, parents, and coaches. Until the next one.
